My Students

Each September, the children get a long list of school supplies. These supplies are essential to their learning but the school is financially unable to provide them. Each year, this list gets longer.

I work in a great school!

We have wonderful parent involvement, motivated teachers, a caring administration and super kids! The school community works together to provide the best possible education for all of our students, from Pre-K through 5th grade. Budget cuts have hit us hard and supplies we used to be able to provide are no longer available.

My Project

Some families have multiple children in school. As the schools deal with budget cuts, the parents are challenged with the rising cost of supplies. Many parents simply can not afford to send in these things all at once. The students are then faced with not having enough supplies or the proper materials to work with. The teachers often pay out of their own pockets to supplement what the school and family does not provide. Please help my students start the year off with the paper, tape, stapler, pens, and other basics they need for a successful school year.

I want my students (all students in the school) to have access to the necessary supplies to start the year on the "write" foot, with all they need to succeed!

Paper, pens, notepads, scotch tape, etc, may not seem like a big deal, but when everyone else has them and you don't, they are everything!
