My students need six high quality microscopes so that we can observe and analyze microscopic organisms.

Being Visionary makes us Victorious! We are in a battle for the soul of our communities and I envision our world with focused, fresh, and innovative young thinkers. In order for this to happen, we need to take our instruction upward, inward and deeper.
My students are bright, smart, and creative, yet poverty, drugs, and violence plague their world.
With these hindrances, educators are fighting for the educational soul of students. They are bright but poverty stops what could be, lack of funds limits what could be, and the results are broken hearts because of what could be is not what it should be. We must break the barrier of this despair fast. Most of my students live in homes where dreams are made from money. The lack of money in their homes limits cuts them off from possibilities that those with money have. Our students live in 99% poverty. My students can and will succeed but after they leave the classroom it can be discouraging. So while they are with me I want them to have the tools needed for quality education and learning. The lack of funds will not hinder us from learning but we need your help. I think our students are bright and will succeed but poverty is our enemy it hinders us from better lessons.
These microscopes will allow them to engage more intensely and with greater passion. Most of the students do not have computers at home or the latest technology so while at the school we can eliminate that. We will look at microscopic organisms, learn more science and do more labs. With these microscopes, we will increase our scientific knowledge and understanding of investigations and labs. We will view microscopic organisms and learn how to use the microscopes at different magnifying levels. Using microscopes will help the students be ready for biology in high school.
I am striving to provide readiness and fun for my students.
I think that Donors Choose is a gift for the poor. I also believe that if we can eliminate the causes of dire poverty our society will have a stronger moral fabric made from good schooling.
