My Students

Do you remember a time when the teacher was teaching and you could not keep up with the pace of instruction? Did you know how to alert the teacher without embarrassment? Well my students have this problem. They can achieve better educational success with this camera.

My students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and are often distracted or disinterested in education because they feel as if they are not capable of grasping the content.

They become distracted because they do not know how to keep up. This belief system starts their downward spiral into the abyss of low self esteem and feelings of inadequacy and apathy.

My Project

This document camera will impact the way students learn, because they are able to see what the the teacher is referencing. Students are able to keep pace with instruction, because they see a projected visual that will spark their interest and inspire them to want to learn more.

This donation will make a difference because it will truly make an impact on the way students learn.

It enlivens their education, because everything is easily viewed from the camera. A teacher can connect to the Internet and show students content that is aligned with their instruction. Students learn better when visual cues are used to enhance vocabulary or instruction. Students with different modalities are able get a closer look at at what they are learning and become inspired.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
