My Students

Think about that favorite song of yours, where does it take you? Your wedding night, birth of your child, your first 5K or marathon race? Now imagine that day with no sound. My students are in dire need of quality audio for the amazing projects they do while in the computer lab!

My students range from kindergarten through fifth grade and come from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.

We are so blessed to have such an amazing group of students with various needs and abilities that help each other everyday. We have students whose disabilities are helping others understand the diversity of the world they live in and grow in a more open-minded society. I would describe this school as the most welcoming and loving around.

My Project

With individualized ear buds, students will have the opportunity to listen to the videos I create in order to achieve the "flipped classroom" weekly during their specials computer time, therefore helping better prepare them for middle school and beyond. Students will create their projects such as videos, voice activated QR codes and avatars and a variety of other activities that will increase learner engagement and retention in order to help a child succeed.

Technology is the future.

If a child cannot hear how to complete a project or piece of work, they will not use it again on their own, therefore limiting their learning to what others will only show them. Having their own individualized ear buds will allow them the freedom to hear the activity at their pace with limitless possibilities on what creations can occur!
