My Students

We are an active group of 48 Second grade STEM students that love learning and love being able to make choices in our classroom environment. We want an exciting flexible learning space to encourage our learning.

My students are a diverse group of energetic learners.They love having the power of choice within the classroom and take ownership of their learning.

The students I serve are curious and innovative. They are constantly seeking opportunities to expand their learning and independence. We are in a large Title 1 school where students arrive daily with a variety of needs. My students need a comfortable learning environment that allows them to take risks and foster a strong sense of self.

My Project

The power of choice is crucial in empowering students to take charge of their learning. By providing students with flexible options that best fit their needs, my students will be able to experience the power of choice and take charge in creating a comfortable learning environment that best meets their individual needs. My students need wobble cushions and stability balls to help channel energy into learning. My students need bean bag chairs to provide an engaging learning environment.

This project will allow my students to experience different seating options that help them discover how important the power of choice can be.

Students will be able to explore what options best suit their individual learning.
