I have a great group of bright students but we do not have some of the basic materials and storage necessary for a modern science classroom. This includes a large dry erase board as well as individual dry erase boards necessary for notes, inquiry based activities, group work, and review games.
My students are some of the smartest, hardworking, and mature young adults that come from all over the city of Chicago.
It is unfortunate that we do not have unlimited resources to make our classroom as modern as possible, but hopefully with your help, we can have some of the basic supplies to help these bright young minds engage in group work on individual dry erase boards in our class. Additionally, our classroom does not have dry erase boards or storage, so the other materials will go toward storing everyday materials such as pens and markers as well as converting old chalkboards into dry erase boards.
My Project
I love to engage my students in inquiry based group work, games, and activities. These individual dry erase boards will help so much with these activities. They can also help in the lab setting.
The other materials will help with our daily storage of these resources as well as to help create dry erase boards for notes.
The project is so important to fund as the items will help vastly in the day-to-day learning of my students.
They will be able to engage in group work, projects, labs, and games using the white boards and associated materials. They will be able to adequately store the materials.
Please help us out to make this a great and productive year in science class :-)
