Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how much fun it was to play outside? Well unfortunately many of my students do not get an opportunity to play outside. I want to change that with your help.

My students attend a school where all qualify for free lunches.

Most of my students are English Language Learners. Many of the parents are hesitant to let their children play outdoors for fear of their safety. My students are unfortunately not getting enough necessary exercise on a daily basis.

My Project

The scarves, activities and games will allow my students the opportunity to have the necessary exercise on a daily basis. They will be motivated to go outside and play with these materials. They will also have the opportunity to play new games that they may not know.

I know that with your help and support you will be providing my students the much needed materials to ensure that they get physical exercise.

The exercise will benefit them with their health. Also, studies have shown the positive effects of having exercise in school. We want our students to develop healthy habits.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
