My Students

Our hand-me-down, broken-down, unsightly wooden chairs are unstable and noisy! These chairs are bothering students (and teachers!) and prevent us from doing our best every day.

Our charter school is supported by our student community and little else!

We are very independent and great leaders who are eager to do our best every day! Because we are a charter school, we have a significantly lower budget than many public schools and depend on community generosity to help us with our basic facility needs.

My Project

Have you ever had to sit in an uncomfortable chair? Think about how that made you feel, how difficult it was to concentrate, how often you needed to get up! Now imagine you're 8-years-old and you have to sit like that all day! With new chairs, we will be able to enjoy and quieter, more focused classroom every day! I am requesting 29 multi-colored chairs.

Focus and safety are some of the most important aspects of a good classroom - and some of the most easily overlooked!

New chairs will provide the quiet, contemplative and - most of all - safe atmosphere we need to do our best!
