Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how excited you'd feel to share that it was your birthday? For most of my students birthday celebrations are a luxury.

I have 24 kindergarten students who are learning in a bilingual environment.

They come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are mostly on free lunch. They love singing and dancing, especially the Freeze game. Their favorite time of the day, aside from lunch, is going to centers.

My Project

Your donation will provide each student with a birthday crown and a birthday goody bag that will have one pencil, sticker, eraser, glitter pen. We can use the birthday stamp set to decorate a homemade birthday card. We will also dance along to Putumayo World Kids World Party Music CD and Greg and Steve's Holidays & Special Times CD. On their birthday they will get to pick which birthday book they'd like to be read.

Your donation will bring joy to 24 students as they are given a birthday crown and a birthday goody bag.

Your donation will also give us CDs and books related to celebrating birthdays. We should show students how much they are loved!
