My Students

Do you remember learning probability and statistics in high school? Probably not because it wasn't exciting and hands-on!

My students attend a math and science charter school in South Carolina.

They are an incredible mix of students from all over the county and represent families from every socioeconomic level. It is incredible how well they get along and help each other regardless of race, affluence, or background.

My Project

These dice, cards, and activity books will bring our probability lessons to life for all of my students. Instead of just learning a probability rule, they will be able to discover it and experience it themselves. They will then be able to take these rules and apply them to so many different situations with the different varieties of dice and games that you will provide for my classroom.

This project will not only impact the students I teach this year, but will be used for every probability and statistics class I teach from this point on.
