My Students

My students are faced with the challenge of learning to play a musical instrument. Your help can provide them with the supplies to assist their studies and keep their instruments in good playing condition.

I have a great group of students.

They go to a school in an urban area, grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is located in a low-income neighborhood. The students are very enthusiastic about playing music. The school provides them the opportunity to play a variety of instruments.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting are reeds for clarinet and saxophone. The vibration of the reed is how these instruments make their sound. The reeds wear out and need to be replaced regularly. Thanks to generous donations from people like you, I have been able to increase the number of instruments at my school and participants in our music program.

These materials will make a huge difference.

The families that go to my school can not afford to pay for musical instruments and instrument lessons. If people like you do not donate to these children, they will not be able to receive music instruction.
