Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every morning we begin with a read aloud story followed by a writing assignment which may include the following based on unit sequence, summary, list story elements, and visualizing. Student write about any of the above categories and they also draw a picture.
My students are bright writer with so much to say about literature, personal experiences and their environment.
They are 26 amazing bilingual first graders, from back of the yards in Chicago. They attend a CPS school and they are in need of school supplies to help them achieve academic growth.
My Project
Students will be writing a class book about endangered animals. They will be using the supplies such as the writing paper for annotation and research and they will use the construction paper for the cover of the book. The binding machine will be used to bind each book for the student.
The supplies needed for this project are very important because each student deserves to see their hard writing work in a book that they wrote and created.
These supplies will increase their writing stamina along with their creativity.
