Getting Kids on Fire for Reading

My students need to replace their electronic devices after loosing them in the storm. They will love to read their favorite picture books on these e-readers.

My Students

My students love to interact with their story books, and giving them the opportunity to read books on e readers will light up their eyes!

My students suffered a loss of their town and much of their technology has been taken from them.

Giving them e readers will get them excited into a new world of books. These stories will be presented in a new exciting way that can be interacted with and brought to life by using an e reader.

My Project

Students will be able to read picture books around the room and interact with their books in a whole new way with e readers. This will make reading exciting and get them ready for 21st century learning as their community and schools rebuild. They will learn what technology can do for them now.

These e readers will replace some of the technology pieces that the students lost in their classroom last summer in the tornado.

They can see that their futures are bright and that our schools will come back bigger and better.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
