My Students

In this time of childhood obesity I am joining Michele Obama in her initiative to afford all children healthy alternatives. Xbox 360 Kinect is a fun and interesting way to get up and get moving. All children can participate in this activity.

I am a third grade teacher in a diverse urban school.

I have 30 awesome children in my classroom who are eager to learn. I want my students to be lifelong learners academically, as well as physically. It is important that my students have healthy alternatives and that they are excited to learn to be physically fit. My students come from diverse backgrounds and most are from low-income families. My students are absolutely amazing and deserve the best education, part of that education is physical fitness. I want the children to be excited and motivated about physical fitness.

My Project

I teach 30 children all subjects, including physical education. I want my students to be lifelong learners both academically and physically. I need to instill the importance of physical education in an interesting and motivating way to ensure learning for all students. Xbox 360 Kinect will allow all students to participate in physical fitness. The students will identify with Xbox 360 Kinect and be motivated to be physically fit.

These resources will help to motivate my students, and ensure learning.
