Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fired up about learning. Putting a Kindle Fire into their hands will help them blaze through learning. It'll help them to learn fifth grade content material through videos, audio, and applications, making everything more comprehensive for them.

My students are Title I students who are not afraid to explore, make mistakes, and they know the value of trial and error.

They appreciate opportunities and take advantage of everything they come across. Unfortunately, they do not have many technology opportunities. Putting some Fire in their hands will help them to access material and content they would not otherwise be able to access.

My Project

Technology is all around us in our world. Unfortunately, with severe budget cuts to education, it is not in our classroom. This results in minimal experiences for our students. Putting a Kindle Fire in my students' hands will allow them to access and research material we are studying via the Internet. The Kindle will help them to refine their literacy, math, science, and social studies skills through educational applications. It will help them to associate and connect technology to education and better prepare them for real world application using technology.

Giving opportunities to students is what will make a child a lifelong leaner.

Introducing students to knowledge will help them be a lifelong learner. Using technology like the Kindle Fire will aide students in accessing comprehensible information and fire them up on learning.
