This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We need to six keyboards to learn to read and play music. The state is taking away our music program. We need to fight back. We need six keyboards. Please help.

We are a gifted fifth grade class.

My students want to take their learning to a different level. They come in at lunch to have chess matches. They come early to finish puzzles. Now, they want to learn to play and read music. The district has taken all music out. Help bring it back. We need six keyboards. Please help.

My Project

The chance for my students to learn to read and play music would be a true gift. The children get to play an instrument in middle school. I want to expose my student to music now! Music also helps students understand fractions and other math concepts. We need six keyboards. Please help.
