This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine running out of 20 pencils in about two weeks? I teach nearly 60 students, and they can do it.

My students are amazing!!

They work so hard to learn their mathematical equations and problem solving skills. Since I teach nearly 60 children, the materials in the classroom can run out quite frequently. My students love to use whiteboards and whiteboard markers.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will be used on a daily basis. I am asking for pencils for students to show every bit of math work on their assignments. In addition I am asking for write and wipe boards and whiteboard markers. The students enjoy having their own board. Then they are able to use the colorful markers to respond to my questions. I included large graphing paper so the children can respond to questions and see the results. The Sharpie markers will be used for the graphing and other activities that we do in class.

These children are so important to me.
