My students need an Encyclopedia set to do a variety of research throughout their 3rd grade year.

My Students

"Who, What, When, Where, How??? We teach 25 third grade students and we do many research reports. We do animal reports, biography reports, and we do not own a set of encyclopedias !

There are 5 third grade classes at our school, and we all must do these reports at the same time of year.

Consequently, our library cannot support us all with encyclopedias. Therefore our students aren't being able to do the research they would like or need! The students in our classroom are inquisitive, and want to learn! Whenever they have the chance to look at non-fiction material they are absolutely enthralled! We are at a school located in a small town, and the information they learn from these encyclopedias will open them up to a whole new world!

My Project

We would be so fortunate to receive a set of encyclopedias in order for our class of third graders to be able to do their research reports in our classroom. We know our students would not only use these for reports but on a daily basis. The information in these encyclopedias will enrich their knowledge of the world!

Your help will ensure that my students learn how to do research reports using encyclopedias, (which is still a very important skill) and not only learn how to research on the Internet.
