My students need a good pencil sharpener, a papercutter and some new markers inorder to make our class more functional.

My Students

OK,so these are not glamorous materials. But we need them. The pencil sharpener in our classroom hardly works. By the time the pencil is sharp, it's half gone, It's like a monster ate it. We're pretty frustrated. Our markers are running dry, and the papercutter, well it would be a dream to have one

My students are special education resource room students.

I work work with Kindergarteners through 5th graders that have learning disabilities. The students come to me for extra support for basic skills (reading, writing and math support) They are a great group of students, hard workers who face their challenges head on.

My Project

We are in need of a good pencil sharpener. The one we have now slows us down and is very noisy. Pencils are half gone before they are finally sharp. We would also love to have our own classroom papercutter. Having one in the room,(but safely away from little fingers) will also increase our productivity. These are not resources that so much change our lives forever, but they DO help our lives run smoother.
