Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Non-fiction reading keeps them engaged and helps them understand the world that they live in.
Our students are hungry for facts and stories about Science, History and Society - and the library is the perfect place to explore these titles.
We are in a 2nd-8th grade urban elementary school.
Our students are fast-paced learners - and constantly are asking for new reading material!
Our students are always looking for new biographies and books about real life. They are naturally curious and have many questions about the world around them. We want to help them answer these questions!
My Project
Students will be able to use these nonfiction library books to expand their classroom knowledge, complete creative research projects, and improve their reading skills.
Teachers can also use these materials for their own classroom lessons, as well as for projects that the students design.
Currently our library is lacking new non-fiction books.
By donating to our library, you will help students see how real facts and true stories can be both exciting and inspirational!
