This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
A typical day inside my classroom includes students designing and building engineering projects.
My students are 9th graders who are eager and excited to learn about the various areas that encompass engineering.
They like to design and build projects that will allow them to have a real world experience through their projects. My school is based on Engineering, Architecture and Technology. Therefore we are constantly engaging our students in hands on experiences.
My Project
Our lessons include building replicas of structures on a minimized scale. My students will use the drills to connect various members together in order to complete their projects. In addition, our robotics team competes yearly in the FTC championships and these tools will also help us in building our robots.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by providing the right tools to make it easier for my students to complete their projects.
By receiving these supplies, my students will gain experience in how to use tools safely, while building projects that they can be proud of.
