My students need a kitchen center to enhance their social learning. The one that we have now is filthy and missing many of its components. It leaves a lot to be desired.

My Students

Can you remember working in home living in kindergarten? The fun you had mixing things and creating meals. The students in my Kindergarten class are only able to imagine what that is like, our home living center is so run down and out dated.

I have a very imaginative energetic group of Kindergarteners.

They are eager to learn and grow. We are a title one school in SC that serves a diverse group of individuals. These children love to take things to the next level and they are very articulate. They work very hard through the day so that they can engage in social centers everyday.

My Project

I would love to provide the students that come in to my classroom with the opportunity to have social centers with a new home living center. By providing the children that come into my classroom with a new updated kitchen center, we can explore the social world of chef's and home makers. This early opportunity to engage in social centers can awaken a life time of experiences.

This new home living center will aid the ultimate potential of future chefs, business owners, and leaders; by giving them early social skills.

This new kitchen will touch the lives of many individuals and give them something to work toward.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
