Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My school is currently in a financial crisis. In order for students to take certain tests and use certain programs mandated by Houston ISD we must update the computers in the computer lab to all being able to run Windows XP. However, in order to do this, we must cut the librarian position and some after-school tutorials. Both of these will negatively impact our students education. My request is for someone to donate 1-2 computers that have Windows XP operating systems so that my school can use the money now earmarked for computers to fund the librarian position. With a full-time librarian our students have a knowledgeable and motivating person to assist in checking out books and someone to cultivate a life-long love of reading. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
