Classroom Supplies Set Students Up For Success!

My students need 20 slanted display boards to assist in writing and note-taking, 20 clipboards to use when working at our meeting area on the rug, and crates for storage.

My Students

Every student deserves to learn and thrive in a well organized classroom filled with supplies! The students at my school are a wonderfully diverse group of learners. Many of our students are English Language Learners and we are lucky to have influences from many different cultures within our school.

Our school is a Title 1, public school with 31% of our students receiving a free or reduced lunch.

Our school prides itself on achievement of all students. While basic supplies are provided, there are many things needed that would support our learners, yet are not able to be funded through our school budget.

My Project

I am requesting classroom supplies that will help to keep our classroom organized and will help students develop strong work and study habits. Many of these supplies will be used during language arts. For example, stand up display boards and clipboards help students organize their materials during note-taking when conducting research. Having crates to store these boards in will create an organized classroom environment. Additionally, a 3 shelf binder storage system will allow students to have a designated area to store their writers' toolkits which they use each day for writing. All of these materials will foster student growth in regards to both academics and independence as they learn routines for properly storing and caring for these items.

The supplies requested will help students to improve their academic and organizational skills.

Many of these supplies will help students to develop strong work habits. Student will have classroom jobs that will include organizing and caring for these materials which will help foster organization and independence.
