My Students

My students love to listen to a good book.

Unfortunately, with all that we need to cover in class, we do not get to read as much as my students would like. Having a listening center would allow my students more opportunities to hear quality literature. My classroom has 24 eager Prekindergarten students who are learning the joy of books and story time. Our school is in a high poverty area, where most students do not have access to reading material or technology at home. They would greatly benefit from the support of others.

My Project

The materials requested will benefit my students in many ways. We currently do not have a listening center due to limited space and outlets in our classroom. Having wireless headphones will give us the flexibility to place a functioning listening center anywhere in the classroom. The Nabi Jr. was designed specifically for this age group. With the Nabi Jr., my students will have access to a multitude of books and educational games that are Pre-K appropriate.

My students love learning and I want to offer them the best experiences possible to fuel their passion.

The Nabi Jr. and the wireless headphones will allow me to provide my students various ways to learn to read and inspire their imaginations.
