My students love to listen to a good book. Unfortunately, with all that we need to cover in class, we do not get to read as much as my students would like. Having a listening center would allow my students more opportunities to hear quality literature. My classroom has 24 eager Prekindergarten students who are learning the joy of books and story time. Our school is in a high poverty area, where most students do not have access to reading material or technology at home. They would greatly benefit from the support of others.
