My Students

My students have not had the experience of having technology within their grasp in the classroom. I would like for students to embrace the age of technology which will prepare them to become productive citizens.

My school has an enrollment of 580 students with 75% receiving free and reduced lunch; the state percentage is 57%.

Poverty is an obstacle, but through collaboration and cooperation, it is one that they can rise above and obtain a wonderful education.

My Project

Through the purchase of 4 Chromebooks, students will be able to do meaningful research without having to leave the classroom. Students will have the ability to create digital products, access online literacy activities, and develop crucial 21st century skills that they would not be able to obtain otherwise. They will learn to work collaboratively with others using online tools, research information for projects, and become proficient with using technology in general.

This project will make a major difference in my students' lives.

They will have access to a wealth of resources that will help them become better students and prepare them for a successful future.
