My Students
My students need to find success in math by using hands-on stations work. They are faced each day with the challenge of learning math concepts and not having hands-on materials to help make it fun.
My students are excited about learning.
They love to come to school each day. As a kindergarten teacher I am always looking for ways to make learning fun. My students attend a city school. They do not have resources at home and school is where they are given the chance to use hands-on materials.
My Project
The math stations I am asking for will be materials that will encourage hands-on learning and fun. There are some stations that are problem solving. Students will need to think and learn. Measurement is often difficult for students to understand. These stations will help with measurement and using inchworms will be so much fun. Subtraction can often be hard for students. The giant numbers will help them learn how to subtract while using giant numbers.
We all know math can be difficult especially for young learners.
I want my students to find success in math. These math stations will make a differences in my students success both in school and at home. They will take what they learn and it will help them in their lives outside school. The great thing about these stations is that I can use them for many years to come.
