Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Let us introduce ourselves. We are a first grade class of 12 boys and 9 girls. We proudly celebrate our Native American, Hispanic, Laotian, and European heritages. We have two additional special friends that join us from the autism room during center time.

Please help us release our puppets from the confines of their crammed drawer, and allow them to entice us to use them for dramatic play!

Our teacher has collected a number of puppets from the thrift store and garage sales. We would love to use them, but they are jammed in a drawer and not too easy to get to.

With your help, we are trying to get some puppet stands that will allow us to easily get to and use our puppets for dramatic play and a little curtained stand to use as a stage. We thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
