They love learning and come to school eager to learn each day. Each one of them has their own special contribution that they bring to our classroom community.
Our school is located in a rural part of Florida. The school is in a low-income community that is involved in every way possible. The parents of my students truly care for their child's education and do everything they can to support our classroom and school.
My Project
My students need carpet squares for circle time, books on their reading level, science experiment materials, and 8-pocket folders. My students will have a comfy place to sit when they use their ABC carpet squares. Right now, the students sit on the tile when they come to the floor for our morning word wall time. My students will also enjoy watching their science experiments grow in our huge classroom window. These plant window viewers are adorable and the perfect size for each student to have their own.
My students will be able to store all of their paperwork from our Daily 5 centers in one spot with their new 8-pocket folders. These folders seem sturdy enough to last the entire year!
My students come in every day with a huge smile on their face.
As their teacher, I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to better their learning experience. My students would enjoy learning, even more than they do now, if I had all of these resources in my classroom.
