My students need a BIG TV to attract attention to all the excellent programs and activities at school.

My Students

Our high school has an incredible variety of programs & activities available, but sometimes it is hard to get the word out about the opportunities. With the help of ABC Family, the Journalism and Leadership classes want to buy and use a BIG TV to play promotional videos on campus.

The 35 students in the digital journalism class work hard producing a news show and a variety of informative videos.

The more than 50 students in the Leadership class work hard putting on activities and making the school better. These students want another tool to publicize these things to students in our suburban school with a long and rich heritage. The student body has a great deal of spirit and sense of community. Students plan events, organize clubs and participate in extracurricular activities.

My Project

Students and others watching video produced by students will learn about clubs, elective classes, events, extracurricular activities, school safety, and so forth. Students want a large HDTV for situations when an LCD projector is not practical or available, including in the MPR, cafeteria, theater, etc. The TV will be used as part of the News set for events such as our telethon fundraiser.
