This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember wanting to keep all your art work organized in one place or wanting to have the tools to "spruce" up your art work?

I teach 750 students art in a Title One school.

My students participate in the free breakfast program, and 98% receive free lunch. I teach pre-k through 5th grade. They come to school with out much if any exposure to fine arts. They are very talented and yearn for exposure to the arts.

My Project

I plan on using the binding machine to make journals of the students work to showcase it at the end of the year. The students will also use the art supplies, wiggly eyes and glitter, to make their projects more vibrant. Right now our supplies are limited to pencils, crayons, markers, and chalk.

Do you remember how much you enjoyed using multiple objects when doing art?

Having an abundance of supplies gives the students more opportunity to be creative with out limitations. Your donations will give my students that opportunity. They deserve to have the very best.
