Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Some of our students aren't read to. I loved being read to as a child! These books on cd will help fill that gap students don't get at home.

We are an urban school full of future leaders!

All students should have the opportunity to listen to good readers read! Students in our district don't have opportunities to listen to good, fluent readers since many of their parents didn't finish school or continue their education. We have high standards for our students and give them many opportunities to hear good readers!

My Project

By having these books on cd my students will listen to how good readers use inflection in their voice. They will be excited about reading and want to be good readers like the narrators they hear! Learning good reading skills is imperative to education!

This project will impact my low-income students for the better by letting them hear good, fluent readers.

My class is better with lots of good reading examples. Thank you for taking the time to help my urban future leaders!
