This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember your teacher calling you up to the blackboard to solve a problem in front of the entire class? For many, this situation brings anxiety and nervousness. I would like to make this situation for my students more comforting so that more students will be willing to participate.

A classroom is full of diverse learners is what I have.

As many of you have experienced during your own educational journey, there are a variety of learners. There are students who enjoy participating without any hesitation and there are students who dread the idea of speaking in front of others. I want my classroom to be a comforting environment for all students to feel secure in participating during classroom activities.

My Project

The use of an eno-mini will help not only to make learning more enjoyable but to also allow students to participate from their comfort of their own seat. The eno mini slate is just like a mini interactive whiteboard that will let me create and deliver engaging lessons and presentations. It provides the opportunity for more student participation and allows me to monitor the students from anywhere in the classroom!

I was once the student who never wanted to be called up to the front of the classroom and have everyone looking at me.

I understand what some of my students are feeling and it's important for me to make learning as innovating and comforting as possible.
