Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember when you first started to enjoy reading, and were searching to find that next great book? My students don't know that feeling because they are from low-income families, and their last priority is to spend that dollar on a book. I hope they can find that feeling in my classroom!

Our school is the heart of their neighborhood.

It is the place they go for warm meals, air conditioned facilities, loving environment, and learning opportunities. It is our priority to provide the up-most learning experiences to help them become life-long learners and productive citizens. The impact of these learning experiences will guide them to excelling in and out of the classroom.

My Project

These books will help them value that having a book to read is as valuable as having a meal on the table. I will be honored to provide my students with these learning materials for centers, read-a-louds, reading buddies, and a various amount of other reading lessons.
