My Students

Kids love math if you sneak it in while they are playing games! My students need math stations so that I can differentiate their instruction and meet the needs of all my learners.

My first graders are great kids who appreciate what they have.

We are from a large district in Texas that values differentiation and encourages teachers to follow a math stations format. These students would take great care of math stations that I organize and create with these materials.

My Project

Having an organized rack, baskets, envelopes, and some of the manipulatives we need for math time would really make our Math block flow smoothly. Students would know right where to go to get the games and materials they need to practice their math that day. Math stations are fun to first graders and they don't even realize they are practicing math!

Your support of this project will have a lasting impact on my first graders math abilities as they discover the fun in math.

When they can have fun at math stations and know what is expected of them, their thinking skills and confidence develop. I look forward to sharing the joy of math with them and watching them learn more and more!
