My students need 60 dry erase boards to be used for checks for understanding, review games, and other classroom activities!

My students are SO bright! Our school is a Title 1 (low-income) school, and our students are amazing, hard-working kids!

No budget this year? No problem. We have had to get a little creative this year in the classroom, but we haven't found a short-cut for the lack of small dry erase boards at our school! My math teacher friend is kind enough to share her boards with us (2 -8th grade science classes), but since we both use them regularly, this has been a challenge.

I would LOVE a set of boards for the 8th grade science classrooms. With 60 boards, we would have enough for both classes of students to each have their own board to use! I know it sounds silly, but 8th graders LOVE to write on dry erase boards! They are less intimidating than paper, and who doesn't love to write with colorful markers! Some of my students who normally struggle to complete work on paper get SO excited when we use white boards, and their motivation to learn greatly increases! Middle schoolers are funny in that way, but it really does work. The boards also help me to get an idea of who is struggling, and what concepts the whole class needs more time on -- it gives quick feedback that allows me to adjust my instruction to the needs of my students.
