The majority of my students reside in the poorest neighborhood in the school district in which I am employed. Over 90% of these students qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch. My classroom alone consists of 18 students, 15 of which are African American, one is Hispanic and two are Burmese Refugees. Despite the circumstances that each student at this Elementary School faces on a daily basis, they come to school eager to learn, and are even more eager to use the technology at their fingertips in order to benefit their education.
