My students and I are using these resources every day to make learning fun and interactive. One of our favorite activities is using the instruments to tap out syllables and rhythm while practicing reading fluency. The slime and snacks have become motivating rewards that celebrate their hard work, keeping them excited and engaged in literacy activities. Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm has been such a joy!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were absolutely thrilled! Their eyes lit up, and they couldn't wait to explore the instruments and earn slime or snacks for their efforts. It created instant excitement in the classroom and set a positive, encouraging tone for learning.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps will be even more exciting. We plan to continue using the instruments and rewards during small-group reading sessions to practice fluency, comprehension, and writing connections. We're even planning \"reading performances\" where students combine music, movement, and reading to showcase what they've learned. Your generosity is helping my students build confidence, celebrate success, and develop a lasting love for reading.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and supporting our classroom—it truly makes a difference every single day!","fullyFundedDate":1760693613001,"projectUrl":"project/every-child-every-talent/9719397/","projectTitle":"Every Child, Every Talent","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Shy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10264992_orig.jpg?crop=2388,2388,x342,y171&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760723050699","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10264992"},{"teacherId":10167365,"projectId":9571779,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your generous donations! Thanks to you I have been able to set up a classroom table with baskets for each grade letting them know where to turn things in. The cart is used to store drawing materials as well. The structure this has provided to the classroom has greatly benefited the students as well. They know where they can find any materials they may need and keep the classroom functioning every day. The markers and theatre props have been very helpful giving students physical things to use in addition to their imagination to create characters and stories in theatre class. We play pretend with the different objects and recently students used the markers to create their own set design drawing of a school bus anywhere in the world to reinforce their learning of story settings. \r\n\r\nThis is the first year there is a theatre class in this school and it has been so rewarding seeing students coming into the theatre and being excited for class everyday. All the items you all provided my classroom with have helped to welcome the students and introduce them to the magical world of theatre arts. They love doing drawing activities where they can create something physical to communicate their ideas and bring it to life. \r\n\r\nWith Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade we are about to begin a unit about story elements (character, settings, problem, solution) and we are going to use the book Scaredy Squirrel and create a map of the character's home, we will pretend to be Scaredy Squirrel to act out his daily routine, recreate the story with puppets, and so much more! Thanks to your support students will be able to use classroom materials in these activities to bring the story to life and make personal connections during their learning journey as well. Your generosity has allowed me to establish a learning community that will continue to grow and thrive as the year continues.","fullyFundedDate":1754963292003,"projectUrl":"project/setting-up-theatre-classroom-help-the-s/9571779/","projectTitle":"Setting Up Theatre Classroom: Help the Show Go On!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brookshire","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10167365_orig.jpg?crop=3611,3611,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754854983713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10167365"},{"teacherId":9075556,"projectId":9723722,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
