Half of this grant was allocated for Gift Cards which over 140,000 Los Angeles Residents have given to Los Angeles classrooms. Because all this funding has been applied, any outstanding DonorsChooseLA.org gift cards can no longer be redeemed. More details

Thanks to the tremendous response from teachers, parents and citizens, the Los Angeles community has helped more than 250,000 students, 5,200 teachers and 740 schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
