Hamilton County Schools is a large school district located in southeastern Tennessee that serves more than 44,000 students across a 576-square mile area. Our 79 schools consist of Pre-K through grade twelve with nearly 2,800 full-time teachers. Our mission is to create pathways to bright futures for all students in our community, by helping to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and supports required to realize their full potential.

At Hamilton County Schools, we believe that our ultimate responsibility is to prepare our students for life beyond high school. Our district plan Future Ready 2023 focuses on the theme of “future ready” to guide the decisions we make to support our students towards graduation, beginning in Pre-K and progressing through their senior year in high school.
