The edges of my classroom are defined by my students' potential. As a 4th grade Two Way Immersion (TWI) teacher, my classroom is an incredible multicultural and multilingual blend of native English speakers, native Spanish speakers, and speakers of other languages. Throughout the day, I teach in both Spanish and English, working towards students who are not only bilingual, but who understand the cultural differences and complexities of our melting pot. The diverse learning community of Bridgeport Elementary collaborates to create rigorous opportunities for children to achieve excellence. We encourage all students to reach their potential as life-long learners and to become productive leaders within their community. Past Classrooms: 2014-2017 Teacher Trainer with Peace Corps Nicaragua, 2011-2014 6-7-8 ELA and Science Teacher at Molalla River Academy.
