I am a Media Arts teacher in the International Network of Schools, a national network dedicated to serving recent immigrants. Our school population is composed entirely of English Language Learners, representing almost 40 different countries and 20 different languages. As a Media Arts educator, my goal is to provide students with the tools to share their experiences and ideas with the world through authentic media projects and productions. My students work is regularly posted on social media, exhibited annually at New York University, and has won several awards from Breakthrough TV, WGBH/American Experience and If I Had A Million Dollars/IHMD. I am also a co-teacher of the Green Thumbs elective, and coordinator for our school's organic garden. Please support me in helping youth to develop express themselves through art, media, and gardening!
