Dear Friends, <p>I normally don't send out solicitations to people, but this is such a worthy cause, I couldn't help but do it. <p>DonorsChoose is a simple way to provide students in need with resources that our public schools often lack. At this not-for-profit web site, teachers submit project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn. These ideas become classroom reality when concerned individuals, whom we call Citizen Philanthropists, choose projects to fund. <p>So I am asking you today <a href="http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/viewChallenge.html?id=17080">please donate</a> - whatever you can - $50, $25, $10, $5, or more! <p>I like to look at it this way - I just donated $15 and in the greater DC area that is one less pitcher of beer I will drink this weekend (which is probably a good thing.)
