My birthday is on <b>Wednesday December 8th</b> and in lieu of gifts I am throwing my birthday karma behind <b><a href="http://www.avc.com/a_vc/2010/10/funding-math-and-science-projects-for-young-women.html">Fred Wilson's AVC Challenge</a></b> in support of science and math projects for young women.
