"Hello, I am a kindergarten teacher and I love to promote in my students a love for reading, writing and learning. Books are a great way to help the children explore the world. That is why it is critical to bring to them the gift of books.
My students love to learn how to read. We are in need of reading resources to use in our classroom as well as books that I can send home for the students to read with their families. Literacy begins with giving children access to a variety of books.
With your help we can give the gift of love of books and reading to my students. You gift will enable my students to become readers. My students are in need of a variety of reading materials.
Help me to make our class a print rich environment that they will never forget. And a gift of books that will promote reading and learning. My students are in need of reading materials, including TIME For Kids Magazine, Weekly Reader, Caldecott Honor Books, Reading Recovery, Guided Reading Book sets, Emergent Readers sets, Theme books, Easy-to-Read picture books, and easy- to - read chapter books.
Help give my students the gift of reading and exploration. We are in need of a variety of books for our classroom. These books will help me promote and support the children's love for reading, writing and learning.
The cost of this proposal is $1,201, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ."

"Reading and writing are critical to living an enriched life. Not only are they essential tools in securing a respectable career, they are also skills that are thoroughly enjoyable. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to tell a story in your own words? Learning to read and write can help you achieve this and just about anything you aspire to be."

"I gave to this project because...I used to teach children in a very low poverty school and I know how it feels to have to buy things yourself, or alter teaching and lessons due to lack of materials. It's not fair, and in the end the children are the ones suffering. What I gave may not be much, but I know from experience that every little bit helps."

"We gave to this project because your teacher let us know what you needed and we think you're more than worth it!"
"My youngest sister stayed back in kindergarten because she couldnt read. My parents were going through a horrible divorce & had no money for a tutor. An extremely generously lady decided to make my sister her "special project" and tutor her every friday for a year and a half. It's been 4 years and my sister is still the top reader in her class."
"I gave to this project because...reading is the foundation of a successful education. And every child should have the opportunity and resources to succeed."
"I gave to this project because all children should have access to the best educational resources possible, regardless of their socio-economic status....also, Logan's 'stache is even more phenomenal in person as it is in the photos....how could I not?! "
"I gave to this project because...history happens all around us and I like the idea of kids reading about the current events shaping their lives today."

"I truly LOVE to read! I have read all kinds of different books (mystery, fantasy, etc.) Reading has always been a delight to me for some reason. I guess its where I escape to if I'm having a bad day or if I need a good laugh. I feel a lot better after giving to this project. I'm 12 years-old and live in GA, I'm very glad I gave to this project."
