My Students

Help students to see what is going on in geometry!! My students need help visualizing geometric concepts. Many topics in geometry are difficult for students to grasp. Having geometer's sketchpad will assist students in understanding what is going on.

Math is often a students weakest subject.

Geometers Sketchpad will help them become more engaged. This tool gives students a tangible method of learning and aligns to the common core standards. Also, not only is this tool great for geometry, but it can also be used in algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.

My Project

The Geometer's Sketchpad will help students to manipulate visual mathematical representations to better understand topics in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and even calculus. By engaging students, this product will increase students understanding and achievement.

Students can begin using this product as early as the 3rd grade.

If students can really grasp concepts and learn the fundamentals of math at such an early age, why not? Students in this country need help in the math and science subject areas. Geometer's Sketchpad will assist in strengthening our students math abilities.
