My Students

Students are not able to afford their own supplies so our school needs a fully stocked art closet.

Our students attend a public charter school in rural Arkansas.

They sign a contract to come to school and commit to hard work, extra hours, and big rewards for effort. My students work very hard to not only catch up academically, but also to get ahead.

My Project

Having more supplies in our art closet will ensure that more students can participate, a wider variety of lessons and activities can be taught, more classrooms other than the art room can use supplies, and will even ensure that supplies will be available for out class of students enrolling next fall.

Simply put, the more art supplies we have, the more art we can create.

This is our first year having art available for every child every day at the middle school. We want to make sure that each child has the quality and variety of supplies they need.
