Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine missing out on some of your favorite books? My students have limited resources at home and many of them have missed out on many great books.

My students attend a public kindergarten primary center that is located in a low-income urban community.

My students are excited and eager to learn. They love spending time in the classroom using our centers. They love reading in the book corner, creating cards in the writing center, or playing educational games on the computer.

My Project

I am requesting books on CDs for students to use in our listening center. Recently, our class received a new listening center with wireless headphones that need batteries. We need rechargeable batteries to keep our headphones powered up and we need multiple copies of books so we can use it to its potential. I am requesting books that will go along with some of our language arts themes and books for our holidays. I know the listening center can be a great new center for learning.
