Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first grade students have recently been learning some valuable good character lessons. They have really developed some great values on character education. They are very eager to learn and do more.

My first grade students are very eager learners.

I feel that at this age, it is a perfect time to teach them about good character, anti-bullying, and values. I teach a class of twenty-two wonderful first grade students. My students are all English language learners. Many of them are economically challenged and may lack some home support. Despite their disadvantages, they come to school everyday eager to learn.

My Project

With the book, Bullying in Schools, my first grade students will learn more on good character and anti-bullying. With the printer, they will be able to print what they research on anti-bullying and good character. For my students that are a little more challenged, the keyboard dock will help ease the research anxiety. They will also be able to use their lined paper to write about good character and anti-bullying.

My students will be able to do so much with all the resources we are requesting.

They are eager to learn and are always ready to do more. I believe that all these resources will provide more opportunities for them to learn in different ways.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
